Stoneflies, their history, ecology and a brief status in Denmark
Stoneflies are peculiar aquatic insects. They have roamed our earth for 299 million years and are wide spread around the world. Though they are widespread, they are quite vulnerable for rapid changes in habitat and pollution. Stoneflies have been used in river monitoring for many years and thus make great bioindicators for a healthy river system. Join Kim Pless-Schmidt, Danish entomologist and biologist, whom have a special interest in these insects. He will show us more about their evolution, history, ecology and their status in Denmark.
Møtet vil holdes på engelsk. Møtet kan følges både fysisk og via Zoom. Zoom-link sendes ut til medlemmene i forkant.
